Hackensack, NJ – November 1, 2010 – Vidyo, Inc., the first company to deliver personal telepresence, today announced that it will support the latest version of Adobe's enterprise Web conferencing solution, Adobe® Connect™ 8, with a “personal telepresence” plug-in that is being developed by Vidyo using Adobe Connect 8 Collaboration Builder SDK. The plug-in will allow users to launch a telepresence-quality Vidyo™ conference within an Adobe Connect session to interact and collaborate with multiple parties. The plug-in will integrate Vidyo and Adobe Connect using Vidyo APIs, and is the result of an ongoing collaboration to offer market leading solutions to Adobe users. “Adobe Connect 8 offers powerful new capabilities including a simpler and more intuitive user interface for improved usability, enhanced audio/video integration for richer participant experiences, a new optional desktop client for improved access, and a software development kit (SDK) for even greater solution extensibility,” said Guillaume Privat, director of product management, Adobe Connect. “Adobe Connect 8 makes video and collaboration experiences more engaging than ever before and with this new plug-in from Vidyo, users in education, government and other markets will be able to seamlessly participate in telepresence-quality Vidyo conferences. We look forward to our continued work with Vidyo.”
